This article deals with teaching licenses issued by Alama Majlisi. Luckily a great number of these licenses have been verified and are available now. They are over ٢٠٠ licenses. the author of this article verifies ١٦ teaching licenses with their full texts. These licenses contain name of students, textbooks, date of issue which are of high importance in the history of hadith development. These licenses indicate that Allama Majlisi has spent most of his time (more than fifty years) on teaching hadith books especially the Four Books (al-Kafi, Tahdhib al-Ahkam, al-Istibsar, and Man La Yahduruh al-Faqih)

Evolution of Language and Its Impact on Hadith Comprehension

Since language is a social phenomenon and evolves over time, it is natural that some words in use today were not in use in the past and those in use in the past are worn out in the present day.

Since religious texts (viz. the Holy Quran and Hadith) are in Arabic and revealed in a specific period of time, thus it is necessary to study the impact of language evolution on our understanding of these texts. Here is a question: Is it right to interpret them according to their present meaning or according to the time of their issuance.

There are important results for this discussion theoretically and practically which reflect on jurisprudential and theological fields. If our understanding of the Holy Quran and hadith is based on wrong assumption how can we depict a true picture of Islam? That is why the present discussion is of such a very high importance.
