Tanzih al-Anbiya wa al-A`immah: A Descriptive Bibliography
Infallibility of Prophets and Imams is one of the important and controversial discussions amongst Muslim scholars. The prominent scholar of Shia, Sayyid Murtada `Alam al-Huda wrote a book under the title of Tanzih al-Anbiya wa al-A`immah in order to answer some dubious questions concerning the Infallibility of Prophets and Imams.
The author of the present article makes a descriptive analysis of the above mentioned book. He first gives a brief account of Sayyid Murtada's life and personality as well as his views on a variety of Islamic sciences. After some introductory discussions such as motivation for writing, authenticity of attributing this book to Sayyid Murtada, date of compilation, he deals with his writing style and way of answering the dubious questions concerning the Infallibility of Prophets and Imams.
