According to a hadith in al-Kafi, the Holy Quran has been revealed based on an exegetical rule: Iyyak `Ani wa Smai ya Jarrah. By the text of this hadith - that has been taken from an Arabic proverb - the real audience of the Quran is different from the apparent audience. A large number of Shia and Sunni commentators consider this rule effective only in the verses addressed to the Prophet. However they know and recognize these verses contrary to his dignity. There are also a number of traditions in Shiite hadith sources that view all verses concerning blame from this perspective. Document analysis of these traditions clearly shows that the documents are altered and the texts are also problematic. It seems that in spite of being allegorical, it is rational in cases where there is a definite indication. If we are going to consider these traditions as a tool for understanding all the verses -that according to interpreter is contrary to the Prophet's merits- we will face with the problem.
