Thirty great sins ,which originate from tongue
The importance of correction of tongue is made clearer whenwe know that a large part of sins as a large part of good deeds are performed by tongue.
Ghazali has narrated twenty types of vices and sins fortongue as follows:
١- Speaking about the affairs not concerned with man. ٢- Rant and babbling ٣- Speaking about forbidden affairs like description ofmeetings of wine, gambling and unchaste women.
٤- Dispute and fussing( caviling and objecting others forwrong purposes as humiliating them or one's own pedantry ).
٥- Enmity and affray and quarrel in utterance ٦- Affectation in speech and trouble in rhythm and such like ٧- Abuse and insult ٨- Cursing ٩- Profane singing and unsound sings ٠١- Indulgence in humor ١١- Irony and mockery ٢١- Disclosing mysteries of others ٣١- Lie promise ٤١- Lie in speech and oath ٥١- Slander ٦١- Gossip ٧١- Hypocrisy in speech
