آية الله قاسم رجل إصلاح و سلام( إستقامة، ثبات، سلمية) - قاسم، عيسى احمد - الصفحة ١٥٣
by war, or to be targeted from the inside or outsiders. They have nothing but their faith in their cause and the legitimacy of their demands. They have a high spirit willing to sacrifice for stability and security, for freedom, pride and dignity.
Let us ask what keeps governments that are keen to remain, in power?
Is it the suffocation of peoples freedom until they explode with frustration?
Is it the distinction between brothers in religion and homeland? Or even between social groups which differentiate in attitude and religion, just to create sedition?
Is it the tightening of restrictions of religion, politics and peoples living to make them disvalue life under pressuring regimes? Is it in the harsh response to the peoples protests and demands of justice, rights and respect of human rights, because they demanded full citizenship rights. Is it by firing people with live ammunition, bombing them with tanks, and killing more and more martyrs?
Whoever imagined that this was the way for regimes to stay stable in power, they are trying to deafen themselves from reality and listen to the language of fiction, turning away from the flagrant lessons of life.
If any Muslim government saw- in delusion- that its existence in power is sustained through the exercise of injustice, oppression, tyranny and murder, it would find Islam and fear from Allah a barrier, this is however, if it had any harmony with the Islamic religion. It would fear to enter into injustice and persisting on it, and extravagating in the bloodshed of Muslims for the survival of its ruling.
A government remains in power when it comes to reconciliation with its people. It must ensure justice and gain their affection. This cannot be achieved unless the people are given their rights and their value is recognized.
