people are the source of all powers. His calls were always made according to a firm peaceful and civilized methodology calling for good and consensus.

Sheikh Issa Qassim was member of the Constituent Assembly in ١٧٩١ and member of the National Assembly of ٣٧٩١. He called for participation and voted in the ٦٠٠٢ elections as well as the ٠١٠٢ elections. He has always called for reform.

Then came the ٤١ February revolution with the Arab Spring in ١١٠٢, and which raised demands for change and real democracy. Sheikh Issa Qassim was the most prominent supporters of this revolution for the sake of the oppressed. He gave support through his honest speech and called for consensus, democracy and real reform.

However, his constant calls for democratic transition were confronted with the regimes ferocious attack by state media and state security apparatuses, and which over crossed norms morals. His patriotism has become a target to the state and he has been repeatedly threatened to be attacked and falsely accused in attempt to change his pro- democracy position and his advocate of human rights and good through justice.

Sheikh Issa Qassim had made many many sermons calling for pure peaceful action despite the Bahraini regimes terror and barbarism in face of the popular demands for democracy. And despite the killings, layoffs, and the exclusion practiced against tens of thousands.
