better to pay his fitra. The same rule applies with regard to payment
offitra if one is compelled to bear the expenses of another person.
٢٠٠٥. If a guest arrives after sunset on Eidul
fitr night and is considered to be one who takes his meals at the house
of the master of the house, payment of hisfitra is obligatory on the
master of the house on the basis of precaution, but otherwise it is not
obligatory, although he may have invited him before sunset and he may
havebroken his fast at his house.
٢٠٠٦. If a person is insane at the time of
sunset of the night of Eidul fitr and his insanity continues till midday
on Eidul fitr. it is not obligatory on him topay the Zakatul fitr.
Otherwise it is necessary for him on the basis of obligatory precaution
to give fitra.
٢٠٠٧. If a child becomes adult, or an insane
person becomes sane, or a pauper becomes free from want before or during
sunset, and satisfies the conditions of fitrabecoming obligatory on
him, he should give fitra.
٢٠٠٨. If it is not obligatory for a person to
pay Zakatul fitr at the time of sunset of the night of Eidul fitr but
necessary conditions making payment of fitraobligatory are fulfilled by
him before midday on Eid day the obligatory precaution is that he should
pay Zakatul fitr.
٢٠٠٩. If an unbeliever becomes a Muslim after
the sunset of the night of Eidul fitr, it is not obligatory on him to
pay fitra. However, if a Muslim who was not aShiah becomes Shiah after
sighting the moon, he should pay Zakatul fitra.
٢٠١٠. It is recommended that a person who
possesses only one saa (about ٣ Kilos) of wheat and the like should pay
Zakat. And if he has family members and wishes topay their Fitra as well
he can give that one saa to one of his family members with the
intention of fitra and he can give it to another family member and so on
till the turnof the last person comes; and it
