A Critical Review of Divan -e- Hafiz Compiled by the Efforts of 'Sayeh'
Sayyid Mohammad Rastgu
Divan -e- Hafiz as compiled by the efforts of 'Sayeh' is, in the view of the writer of this article, the latest and the most important corrected edition of the divan of Khaja -e- Shiraz. This divan has been compiled by referring to ٣٠ manuscripts of the ١٠th century and great effort has been expended and appropriate yardsticks have been applied for classification and selection.
The author of the article believes that the most accepted divan of Hafiz will be the divan which has been compiled with the cooperation of a group of scholars of Hafiz who are likeminded and share a good taste. From this angle he criticises at some places the selection of the editor and mentions instances of differences of taste between him and the editor of the divan.

Asghar Irshad Sarabi

The writer says: During the past three academic years i.e. Mehr ١٣٧١ - Mehr ١٣٧٣, just for the last year of the middle school, three writers with differing perspectives and tastes have written books on the history of literature, and sadly, none of the three has been upto the mark; rather with each effort the quality has decreased. Unmeditated Selection
Mohammad Reza Mustajab
The book 'Barguzideh -e- mutun -e- adab -e- Farsi' is among those books which have been used as text-books for the general course of the universities of the country since years. The writer of the article writes in the introduction of the book: "The compiler of this book has, by using the primary and relatively reliable sources, made a effort to place the multi - dimensional lives and experiences of the Shiah Imams which were a lesson all throughout, before the Persian readership". Despite this, the reviewer has mentioned his detailed observations which are basically about the hurry in publishing the book, the discrepancies visible between the text and the references provided, weak translations, and summarily, a dire need for a basic editing of the book.
