NARAGHI THE POLITICAL THOUGHT OF MULLA AHMAD
Davood Fayrahi
Naraghi's political thought is a composition of elements from Greek ideas and Islam. This composition has created a specific network of ideas includig civil man, justice, the nature of man, social order, and legitimate rulers. From Navaghi's viewpoint, religion is the criterion for justice and government and Faqihs are the true examples of sultans under the shadow of God.
After studying Naraghi's political thoughts, the article tries to clarify two jurisprudent rules based on Naraghi's discussion on Fiqh. "The general wellayat-e Faqih" and "the restricted wellayat-e Faqih" are the two rules to be disussed in the article.

PHILOSOPHY, MYSTICISM, AND POLITICS
Ali Reza Sadra
The philosophical-political approach emerged in the third century to contemplate over theological issues. On the one hand, this approach was influenced by primary Islamic sources, and on the other hand by intellectual and philosophical ideas borrowed from other civilizations in China, India, Egypt, Greece asd Persia. Later, these ideas were hammered out by intellectuals such as Kandi, Al-Farabi, and Khajeh Naseer. In the same way, the mystical-philosophical approach which appeared in the ٥th century was strengthened in the ٦th and ٧th century after the invasion of the Mongols.

POLITICAL THOUGHTSCIVIL ETHICS IN MOHAGHEGH-E NARAGHI'S
Mohsen Mohajernia
Islamic scholars reached in two ways, when encountering the issue of moralitly and politics. Some scholars, Al-farabi for instance, have looked at Ethics from a political perspectiv, but some others, such as Ibn-i Moskowye and Naraghi have looked at politics from a moral point of view. The most important question the latter raised is whether the goal of governments is spreading virtue and piety among the citizens and authorities or not. Naraghi tries to explain the behavioural codes of his political sociey on the basis of a theory of philosophical-religious ethics.

Ali Akhtarshahr
Hamid Reza Moslemi
Doing this research on the basis of the Springer Model, the writers maintain that the most important crisis in Naraghi's time was the oppression of the people. And Social Justice was the best way to solve the problem. To do so, he proposed that the concept "Wali" should be incorporated into the theory of state. FREEDOM IN THE SHIITE POLITICALREASON, RATIONALITY, AND POLITICAL THOUGT
Mahmood Shafi'ee
Reason and rationality are two fundamental concepts in the Shiite theological and political thought. Different interpretations of thes concepts may lead either to the preparation of the grounds for freedom or to the impediment of freedom. In Shia school, the rationalists have stepped away from the traditionists by raising the above issue, but they were unsuccessful in proposing an explanation of reason. On the other hand, other Faqihs, including Imam Khomeini, resorting to concepts such as "common law", "the method of rationalists", "the method of the religous", "expediency" and "the Permission Principle" as the secondary religious sources, constructed a discourse which provided the ground for the study of political freedom. This article is to find out the relationship between these concepts and political freedom from Imam Khomeini's perspective.

THE IDEAL RULER IN SOHREVARIDI'S VIEWPOINT
Rajabali Esfandiar
The government of the "theologian ruler" is the essence of Sohrevardi's political philosophy and illuminism, based on mystical experience and logical thinking, plays an axial role in explaining Sohrevardi's political philosophy. The key to underestanding this philosophy, as Sheikh Al-Ishraq says, is knowledge of the self. Benefiting his own mental abilities, he presents a classification on the basis of which the most knowledgeable member of the society, who is well-aware of the instinctive and argumentative philosophy, is chosen as the leader of the society. Maintaining the necessity of man's social life, and of prophecy, he proposed the government of a theologian ruler as a model which can bring about spiritual and material development.

CIVIL MAN IN GHOTB-ODDIN SHIRAZI'S VIEWS
Morteza Yusef-Rad
The article briefly discusses Ghotb-oddin Shirazi's view on civil man and the necessity for politics. According to him, man's character has two aspects: on the hand, he is a satanic, material, and beastly being; on the other hand, he is a divine, spiritual and humane being. Therefore, depending on the situation and need, each of these aspects can be the basis for man's civilization. In Shirazi's philosophical system, the universe is based on balance, order, and the hierarchy of the components of the elements of universe.
Athough, the heavenly world attained these qualities when it was brought into existence, the lower earthly world lacks them and it is politics which can create order and balance in this world. He also believes that the good of the people is obtained through the balance of the sensual abilities. Since the universe is balanced, he insists on the necssity of politics to ensure the good of the people and to attain balance.

Sayyed Javad Imamjom'ehzadeh
This article studies the cankers affecting the developing movement of society and the Islamic government from the viewpoint of Imam Ali in his book "The Way of Eloquence". One of the cankers, as the Imam says, is social disunity which violates the stability and continuity of a system. Luxury and sycophancy are the second group of cankers deteriorating the social basis and the legitimacy of the government through creating a gap between the people and the officials. The third is suppressing the truth (religion) in favour of the government. Poverty is the last canker.
